Emergency services and firefighters were kept busy on Monday night as the thunderstorm that made its way through New South Wales hit Canberra, with at least 24 call-outs around the capital. Most were for relatively minor power outages and other issues due to the heavy rain the hit the ACT about 6.30pm, but the spate of incidents was spread from the northern-most suburbs to the most southern in the city.
