More than 500 people have been attacked by a dog in just eight months according to latest figures. Shockingly, the reports include three incidents where a dogs' owner set the animal on an other person, and one where a dog was purposely set on livestock. A total of 1,029 dog attacks were recorded across Northern Ireland in eight months to December 2017. And the most risky area appears to be Belfast where 100 incidents were recorded.
